Secondly, never cram. The more information you need to stuff into your brain, the more likely it will be to get distracted. Instead, study and review your notes in between periods. After school, when you return home or go to your dorm room, do your homework, read the chapter assignments for the next day and do one final review of your notes.

Never force yourself to study when you feel sluggish. You will definitely not retain anything inside your head. Also, it is not advisable to do an all-nighter. To keep your mind fresh for college the following day, set a fixed time for when you sleep at night.
