Be sure the child is able to perform the tasks you give them around the home. You’ll need to share with them the rewards you get when you do the task, so that they look for the same sense of accomplishments. In our home, every family member had personal as well group responsibilities in the family. We expected our children to transfer their task accomplishment skills to everything they did, especially at school. Teaching is more than telling students what they are to do.
